Invest in the S&Me500

I heard the phrase “S&Me500” through Alex Hormozi a few months ago.

I loved the idea. While everyone is trying to put their extra cash in the S&P500 to get a 9% return annually, Alex says to invest that into yourself instead.

If you want to make a $1000 from your S&P500 investment, you have to put in around $9,600 into the S&P500 fund. Here’s the math:

The long term average return of the S&P500 is 10.43%

$9600 * 1.1043 = $10,601.28

If you invested $9600, you would’ve made $1000 in a year.

Now imagine if you put that $9600 towards your education.

Imagine if you bought a mentorship or course or invested that into an executive coach from someone who is already where you want to be.

You won’t immediately become successful but if they’re where you want to be, they’ll tell you what mistakes not to make on the way.

Alex Hormozi says “You can buy the skills to make an extra $100k this year”.

I’ve seen people online that are against courses, masterminds, coaching etc. My belief is that if you buy from legit people, you will see a retun on investment. It’s not necessary to invest in your education (buy courses etc) but it does fast-track your success and you tend to avoid mistakes that you would’ve made without having guidance.

This is why investing in the S&Me500 is better than the S&P500. I love this ideology which is why I wanted to share it with you.
