Tesla’s 70% Decline

Tesla reported a significant decline in profits for the fourth quarter of 2024, with net income dropping over 70% compared to the previous year. However, the company said it was making progress on reducing vehicle production costs, aiming to get the cost of goods sold under $35,000 per vehicle.

Stole From OpenAI?

DeepSeek has created the DeepSeek r1 model, which competes with OpenAI's top AI products. However, OpenAI believes DeepSeek may have unfairly used OpenAI's AI technology and data to develop its competing products. OpenAI and Microsoft are investigating whether DeepSeek accessed OpenAI's systems without permission.

$1.47 Trillion Climate Crisis

A new study shows that climate change is expected to cause home prices to drop by $1.47 trillion across the United States by 2055. Parts of California and New Jersey are predicted to be the hardest hit areas. In these "climate abandonment" communities, a combination of people moving away and rising insurance costs is expected to drive home prices down significantly.
