🗞️ News

$540B Treasure in USA

Experts discovered 18 million tons of lithium, worth $540 billion in California's Salton Sea. This is one of the biggest lithium deposits in the world. Having this much lithium in the U.S. could mean the country doesn't have to import as much lithium, especially from China

Cars Will Become Expensive

President Trump's new 25% tariff on imported vehicles and car parts is expected to impact the U.S. automotive industry significantly. The tariff will apply to imported cars starting on April 2nd and to car parts starting on May 3rd. Experts predict this will lead to an average price increase of at least $6,000 per new car or truck, as nearly half of all vehicles sold in the U.S. are imported.

Elon Pressured Content Moderation?

Elon Musk privately messaged Reddit's CEO Steve Huffman about content moderation issues on Reddit. Musk was upset that some Reddit communities were blocking links to his X platform and that Reddit users were threatening employees of Musk's Dogecoin company.
