$400 Million in Losses

Trump's media company, Trump Media & Technology Group, lost $400 million in 2024. The company had to pay many legal fees because of problems with the government under President Biden. They also made less money from a deal they had with another company.

DOGE is trying to access the IRS’s data

Elon Musk's DOGE team is trying to get full access to the IRS's database of tax information for millions of people. This database has private details like people's Social Security numbers and tax returns. Normally, access to this information is very restricted because it's sensitive. But the DOGE team wants to be able to look through it to try to find problems like waste and fraud in the tax system.

Paid Subreddits

Reddit is going to start charging people to access certain parts of its website in 2025. The company's CEO says they are working on creating special "paid subreddits" that users will have to pay to view. This could be tricky for Reddit - they may have trouble finding people to moderate these paid areas, and they'll need to figure out how to pay the users who create the content that goes in the paid sections since most of Reddit's content is currently free
